The One Day Blood Drive Project held its first blood drives on September 11th 2013. All the blood drives across 15 states and 20 schools raised over 750 units of blood in a SINGLE day. On September 11th 2014, One Day held it's second annual blood drive. Through 26 schools across the nation we raised over a 1000 units of blood. On September 11th, 2015 we raised 452 Blood Units, 41 Platelet Units, and 8 Double Red Units via participation from 11 schools.
In honor of the victims and heroes of 9/11, we continue to strive to save lives. Just the simple act of giving blood can save someone's life. But when we all come together, we can save thousands of lives.
